1993-95   Voluntary Associate with the Probation Service. Corresponded with two men convicted of murder and visited Holloway Prison. My client had been found guilty of aiding and abetting the rape of her own children.

2006-12   Lived with the poor Bedouin at Petra, Jordan (My neighbours had occupied the tombs and caves of Petra before tourist development)
2014 70 Self-published Living with Arabs
2014 70 Celebrated 70th birthday by spending 7 weeks at sea in a container ship. 14,000 mile round trip from Felixstowe to Mexico and SE US. For 5/7 weeks there were only 2 passengers and I was the only woman.
2014 to present   Volunteer befriender at St Peter and St James Hospice, Haywards Heath
2015   February. Spent 12 days in Jordan revisiting my former neighbours and marketing my book
